Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how TrundlePaw collects, uses, and protects information about visitors to trundlepaw.com (the "Site"). TrundlePaw is operated by an individual based in Spain; there is no separate company behind it. For any question about this policy or about your personal data, contact trundlepaw@proton.me — this is the only contact channel for the Site.

This policy covers trundlepaw.com itself. It does not cover third-party sites you may reach through links on the Site, including affiliate links — see the Terms of Service and Affiliate Disclosure.

2. Information We Collect

Information you provide directly. If you subscribe to the TrundlePaw newsletter using the form in the site footer, we collect the email address you enter. The form includes a hidden field intended to catch automated spam submissions rather than to collect anything from you.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, trundlepaw.com automatically receives certain technical information when you visit — such as your IP address, browser and device type, and the pages you view — through our hosting and content-delivery providers (Netlify and Cloudflare) and through Google Analytics (see Section 3).

TrundlePaw does not currently display any advertising. If that changes, this section and the Cookie Policy will be updated to reflect it. The Site has no comment system, user accounts, or other feature that would collect additional personal data at this time.

3. Third Parties Who Process Data

The following third parties process data in connection with the Site:

• Netlify — hosts the Site and processes newsletter sign-ups submitted through the footer form.
• Cloudflare — provides DNS and content-delivery services for the Site and may process technical connection data as part of that.
• Google (Google Analytics, Google Search Console) — TrundlePaw uses Google Analytics to understand, in aggregate, how visitors use the Site, and Google Search Console to monitor how the Site appears in Google Search results.

TrundlePaw does not currently run advertising. If Google AdSense is introduced in the future, Google will also process data for that purpose, and this policy and the Cookie Policy will be updated accordingly. TrundlePaw does not sell your personal data.

4. Cookies

The Site uses cookies and similar technologies, including for Google Analytics. A full breakdown of the categories used, and how to manage your choices, is available in the Cookie Policy.

5. Your Rights

Depending on where you're located, data protection law may give you rights over the personal data TrundlePaw holds about you — for example, to access it, correct it, request its deletion, or object to how it's used. Because the Site has no user accounts, these requests are handled individually: email trundlepaw@proton.me and we will respond as promptly as we reasonably can.

This policy is written in general terms rather than naming one specific country's data protection law, since visitors reach the Site from many countries. That's not a claim that no such law applies to you — the exact rights available depend on where you live, and this page isn't a substitute for advice about your own local law.

6. Data Retention

Newsletter email addresses are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them, whichever comes first. Technical and analytics data collected by Netlify, Cloudflare, and Google is retained according to each provider's own default settings, which TrundlePaw does not individually configure.

7. Children's Privacy

TrundlePaw is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data — for example, through the newsletter form — contact trundlepaw@proton.me and we will remove it.

8. Changes to This Policy

This policy may be updated from time to time, for example as the tools used on the Site change. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date above.
